Moniah Ghislaine Gabriel
Moniah Ghislaine Gabriel is a radiant figure blossoming from the rainy city of Seattle, Washington. She currently holds the title of Miss HBCU Teen 2025 and wears her crown proudly.
Her journey is deeply rooted in her passion for both education and community, as she currently attends the illustrious Fisk University in Nashville, Tennessee.
At Fisk, Moniah is majoring in Psychology and minoring in Arts, beautifully encapsulating her desire to understand the human experience while creatively inspiring those around her.
Moniah's mission as a queen is tied to her personal experiences. Having spent 12 consecutive years in predominantly white institutions (PWIs), she knows firsthand the challenges faced by students trying to find their authentic selves in environments that may not always promote and celebrate diversity.
Now immersed in the rich tapestry of an HBCU, where students from various backgrounds come together, Moniah is committed to advocating for all students to embrace their full identities and confidently.
Dancing through life, and learning to help others to do the same
Her commitment to uplifting others goes beyond advocacy. Moniah utilizes her artistic talents to make a positive impact on her community. Through the expressive art of dance, she empowers young Black students, specifically girls, teaching them how to present themselves with poise and confidence. This form of mentorship fosters a sense of pride in their identities and provides the tools to navigate both academic and social environments with ease.
Moniah strives to create a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where every student feels valued and understood. Her vision is clear: she aims to bring comfort and physical results to her community as a proud Black queen. By embodying strength, resilience, and compassion, she is not just a role model but a beacon of hope for many.
