Alayah Miller- Gibson
Alayah Miller-Gibson, the reigning Miss HBCU Junior Teen 2025, is a 16-year-old 11th grader in the Law and Public Policy Magnet at Towson High School.
She prides herself on being a well-rounded student, involving herself in many different clubs and social groups, such as the Model Congress Team, Model United Nations, and the Black Student Union, to name a few.
Alayah also has a passion for social justice. She is a member of a Social Justice Teen Fellowship Cohort, where she and her peers build bridges between the Black and Jewish communities. In the future, she hopes to attend Spelman College, majoring in Public Policy and Political Science.
She is very passionate about the importance of sisterhood and surrounding yourself with an amazing village, which is a leading factor as to why she wants to attend Spelman. Sisterhood and connection are very important values at Spelman, and she wants to be a part of that.
With a platform all about mentorship and the building of young minds, she works to uplift the youth in her communities. She believes that the youth are our future, and it is very important that we equip them with the tools and skills needed to be successful adults. Having had many great mentors in her life, she is ready to help continue their legacies of pouring greatness into today’s youth.
